All these markings on money make me wonder what the motivation is to do it in the first place. My guess that it's a form of rebellion either explicitly, with the comments stating how the government corrupt or more implicitly with drawings or mutilations. Just the act of changing this money is kind rebellious. Money holds so much power in our society and for a person to damage or change it is like saying "this money doesn't have power over me."
